I recommend using a mohair blend yarn - I used Hobbii Diablo (2 strands held together) but you can use any yarn as long as it is roughly fingering weight.

I would say this is appropriate for a beginner. With shorthand instructions, step-by-step instructions and a video tutorial, I feel that you can tackle this project no matter what your skill level!

I hold the yarn doubled up - so if you are choosing a thicker yarn or only wanting to hold 1 strand of mohair (alone or in combination with another yarn), you will need half the amount of mohair.

• Slip Stitch

You will also need to know how to increase and decrease.
